Brian opening presents

Yvonne(wife) with a scowl
Standing at he door
It`s only just past midnight
You`re like a bloody kid
I open another present
Then take off the lid
Something exciting
Lurks within
More socks & undies
Chuck them in the bin
Not exciting enough
For a young man in his prime(60)
Toys are much better
For me to spend my time.

growing-up is a fairy tale we frighten kids with if they won't go to bed when we tell them. toys...? i had a train set, now i have a fender telecaster...that's the joy of evolution.
