Topic: Added Another One To The Songbook, Rick.....

And anyone else who wants to take a look.

I first heard this song in the movie "Kelly's Heroes", and when I heard the words, dangit, if I didn't tear up a little bit. Another one that hits damn close to home.......

All that stuff that hits home, makes me wonder, "Just what kind of person are you, Bill, that every line you see written here seems to be about you?"

Oh, yeah, about the song itself: Can I skip one of those two quick changes at the beginning of each line?

Thanks

Bill

ETA: I see a couple of minus semitones which will let me do that, but don't think I can do the pluses. Anyone have anything else to suggest?

Bill what you have posted is probably copyright material and, if so, it will removed by the section Moderator.

However I think that the chords are shown in the wrong place and should be something like this:

Burning BridgesKelly's Heroes

[D]Friends all tried to warn me but I [Em]held my head up [G]high,

[A]All the time to warn me but I [D]only passed them [D]by,

Roger

It is OK to show a couple of lines as an example so this is allowed.

"Do, or do not; there is no try"

Thanks, Roger. smile I fixed it and will leave yours up as the example. Thanks for coming to my rescue, my friend!

Bill.

I remember seeing that movie when it came out....the song I don't remember. Let's call it old age and move on.

I couldn't find it in on this site. I would like to hear what you come up with if you can record it safely.

Thanks Chordie for the years of music and advise.
