Topic: Drummer Neil Peart Retires

Well it looks like we've seen the last of Rush's best years. Health concerns have been especially plaguing drummer Neil Peart, as well as guitarist Alex Lifeson. Here's a very thorough report from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, just last Monday:

Thank goodness for YouTube. With a career spanning 4 decades, we can still continue to enjoy their music for years to come.

Thanks soooo much, Neil, Alex, and Geddy!

Re: Drummer Neil Peart Retires

So glad I got to see them gig. What a fun band.

Re: Drummer Neil Peart Retires

A heck of a band that aged well - sounded great last time I saw them as well as the first - and those 2 shows were over 30 years apart! I bet I've seen them 8 or 10 times in between!

Rule No. 1 - If it sounds good - it is good!
