Is there a song that you'd like to hear everyone cover?  One you've been dying to try out and hear everyone's take on it?  This is the place to cast your vote, and place your suggestion for the featured song of the month for July 2016!

Once we have enough suggestions for next month, the section moderators will take a vote and create a post so you can get practicing and recording!  When July 1st rolls around, you can then post your version in the new thread that we'll create for July's Featured Song of the Month!

So, share your thoughts on the song you want to hear everyone try NEXT!

I have an idea for this  so don't discount it  by who it is.  It may not be as deep as Neil young or retro classic as Ode to Billy Joe,  but its a great song.

smile  Good suggestions in here!  I think July's song should be a good ole sing along song!  Something everyone knows, is easy to play, and fun to sing!  After all, summer's on the way (in most areas), and it's the season for campfires and sing along songs.  Well, that's just my 2 cents of course.  wink

Knocking On Heavens Door. Sounds like a good song to tackle not too many lyrics great chorus and one many Chordians could do. Great sugestion Roger.

What about selecting an artist and letting people choose a song. Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie ect.
Or songs that begin with the letter C..for example.
Either way it's fun.

rickyjack......yep we can look at this, a good idea, mixes it up smile   As long as we end up doing the same song it could be fun.  Could be a good way to make it more interesting doing something like this from time to time smile
