Roger I love the Nashville tuning sounds you get.  Do you have guitars permanently set up for that? If so, do they have to be adjusted for it?

unclejoesband ................ looks like you were all having fun.  A little bit hard to hear you in parts but what i could hear of you sounded good.  That lady in the group she sounded good ........ i would have liked to hear you both sing this separately ..... i think you would have both made it your own individually smile

Jan, Nashville tuning has the E, A, D, and G strings replaced with thinner strings and tuned an octave higher than normal, the B and e are tuned as normal and this gives a different sound. I really like the effect of finger picking with this tuning but more importantly, I like to be different to everyone else too big_smile.

I enjoyed listening to all the new submissions since I was last in the thread.  I like just sitting down and listening one after the other.  smile  Really great way to spend a little time on a relaxing Sunday.  Thank you for sharing, all of you!  I've commented on the recordings.  smile

Sorry I missed this, my bad!!

I keep two acoustics Nashville tuned and two normal and yes the string tension is different for the Nashville strings and needed a truss rod adjustment.
