I have always lie the intor to Keep yourself Alive by Queen.  and then I had a little run I liked, So Kinda put them together.  they need some ,, ok A LOT of refining, but I think Im on to something. two attempts on soundcloud.

Nice riff, Beamer ... it also reminds me a bit of Heart's "Barracuda". The effects you're using (phase/flange, distortion) are perfectly suited to the riff.

Future idea is to have bass do the long repetitive riff and  then the guitar for the rest.

Beamer - sounds great ---nice smooth beat and" jump up and downs" on the neck.  I liked that subtle little pause around the 1:45 mark - it set you up for - "What's coming next ? "

Yep, I got the "Barracuda" vibe from it to, not sure if that's what you were after ... but it felt like that with "Keep yourself alive" mixed in ...
