Topic: SUGGESTIONS: APRIL 2018 FEATURED SONG OF THE MONTH

Ok, for month of APRIL, looking for SUGGESTIONS for TWO Separate Categories as suggested by our very own members.

First up from Neophytte, his idea is as follows:  The First Category will be any SONG that mentions a COLOR in the Song, in the Lyric`s or the Song Title. 

Next idea from Baldguitardude:  Our Second Category will be INSTRUMENTAL.  Yep you read it correctly,  NO Singing/Vocals.  This gives Everyone a chance to participate, particularly any members that are a bit shy or just don`t want to sing but love to play their instrument of choice.

So with a big thanks to Neophytte and Baldguitardude for their idea`s,  go start SUGGESTING!

A suggestion. Why not leave these open and have anysong that mentions colour and anyinstrumental piece without choosing specific numbers? This way there will be a greater variety of offerings.

Hi Roger, yep it is open, there is no set number of songs for either category whether color or instrumental.  There hasn`t been set numbers on Suggestions for a while now smile

As for instrumentals - I think "Wildwood Flower" is pretty much every bluegrass flat pickers first song. That may be worth a mention.
