Sounds great. Nice clean melody, good lyrics and it flows really well. Good job!

Re: aint myself no-more

Your song title contains some popular search terms so there were other songs in front of you in search results.  I just scrolled down the page till I saw your gorgeous mug.

Re: aint myself no-more

Well....I didn't know you cared.

What I meant was the link?  You found it the same way I did. By scrolling down till I found my old weather beaten features, but where was the link hiding?

Re: aint myself no-more

In the YouTube app for iPhone there’s a share button that lets you copy the link.  On a desktop I think you might be able to right click the video and get the same options.

Re: aint myself no-more

Thanks again. I shall give it a go later.

Comment left. That was very touching, my friend, and describes so many folks with dementia - Alzheimer's or otherwise (there are 11 types). Dondra sends her compliments on the song and wishes she could give you a hug. Since she couldn't - I took it for you. smile  I know I have recommended this to Peatleand now I am suggesting it to you - could you send this to your local Alzheimer's Dementia Association? I am sure they'd love it as much as we all do!

Congratulations and thanks for that beautiful sad song.

Re: aint myself no-more

Hi Bill. I did try sending it to you first, but I guess that didn't work? I'm so glad you like it as that means more than anything to me. Give Dondra a hug from me in return, I feel somehow robbed of a nice warm hug from a lovely lady that I feel I know yet never met. I shall search for my local ADA as you suggested.

Thanks again, you're a real friend.

Thanks Jim. You do know that"nailed it" means something different this side of the pond?  Nah, just kidding.

Yes, I play lefty. I do most things right handed and something's left. It annoys Ann when she asks me to rub baby creme on her back....(not like that!) And I put out my left hand and she says "no the other one" I find playing guitar comes more naturally to me lefty. Go figure?

Thank you Richard, high praise indeed.
Can you pop round and say hi to Paul, my son who lives in Mandurah? Lol

Re: aint myself no-more

Very nice Phil .I enjoyed that  it had a Floyd feel to it in the chorus, glad you did it as an acoustic number it was superb.

Re: aint myself no-more

thanks Grah, I have been watching a couple of Floyd concerts on Sky lately, I didn't realize there was a similarity there....subconscious?

Re: aint myself no-more

Nice one Phill, I enjoyed listening to it.  I think this is the first song I have heard you play without all the sound effects so it was more raw, natural (if that's the correct way to explain it) smile

Re: aint myself no-more

That's the first time one of my songs has been compared to a nudist beach lol

Thanks for listening. Trouble is I love multi layering my songs. I'll have to do more raw ones, or just post the demos....

Re: aint myself no-more

Phill I love it when you strip back to guitar and vocals. With pictures of you doing it live and with style.     Or as the young people say here when they enjoy someones playing, your on fire.

Re: aint myself no-more

Yeah Phill i got to agree, loved hearing a stripped down version too.
I guess if you do stripped down gigs you could always charge more for the extra entertainment?

No I don't do comedy....any way, it wouldn't be financially worth it as I'd have to supply magnifying glasses!

Many thanks Peatle and Brian for tuning in and commenting.
