What's in a kiss?

All warm blooded animals do it.
Elephants to lions to our dogs and cats.

The expression of how we feel .
The kiss of death
The kiss of Friendship
The kiss of love
The last kiss goodbye

The conscious show of affection.
But what is conveyed within?
You never know.  Is it love,
or is it sorrow?

Will it last a second?
Or stay for 100 tomorrow's?

Re: What's in a kiss?

peatle is right it could make the opening to a book. it's a nice piece of poetry, very deep i thought, are you going to put it to music?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: What's in a kiss?

Wow ... so much power in so few words! You've written a lot of amazing pieces, Beamer, but this is right at the top.
