Topic: NGIB

NGIB = New Guitar I Built

The trim is purple heart wood.
The cherry is from a tree in my back yard
The maple is from the gym floor they tore out of the school where I coach.

Sounds pretty good tome.

Jim that is a unique beautiful guitar love your use of differant woods. Looks like it would be fun to play.   That would be a perfect heirloom for the generations of your famiy to come. A real treasure .

Yes Peatle - pretty much why I build them - thinking maybe my kids and grandkids will appreciate them and remember me  smile

Thank you all.  To me it sounds really good.
Beamer - I wish you were here to thrash on it to really see what it can do.
It has Seymour Duncan SH1's - a.k.a.  Vintage Blues humbuckers.   They growl very nicely, but also play so smooth on the lower volume end
