Topic: My world has changed

When lockdown began I was quite relieved, I like staying in and don't mind not boozing. But Sunday I realized that I'm beginning to miss the gigs, the traveling freely and all that. So this came to mind. Please feel free to add your own verse about how you are and have been affected.

My world has changed.
It's not what it's been all my life.
Truth be told I wanted it to stop.
The gigs, the traveling, the work.
The drinking, the doing the same thing, week in.
Week out
After these months of doing nothing.
Wouldn't it be good to do it all again?

Phill I like your words. After loosing the end of our summer to being locked in it was great to get out and do my thing again even though it is winter here now.. Here is my attempt to add to your words.

Truth be told I wanted it to stop.
Before they put our life's on hold.

With my mind rearranged

The Work.
What I thought was a pain.
I would love to have again.
