Topic: HOT RODS AND HEROS

I was almost asleep at 1AM and this came to me.  I worked it till the phone fell on my head.  Did some more tweaking today.  Melody in my head but not yet in my hands.

With the joys and the strifes
Directions unknown
Hoping,  we don’t get burried under stone

Landscape keeps changing
An life’s rearranging

It's all Hot rods and heroes
Clunkers and zeros
Not everyone is a winner
We can’t all be first on the finish line

Lovers and cheaters
Habitual repeaters
Brand new beginners
That don’t make them sinners

Hot rods and hero’s

No one knows where to go
No one has to know

Inspiration always seems to hit you at the most inconvenient times. It's usually in the shower for me!
