Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, I need to acclimate!

Looking for a reason, a reason to stay
Looking for a reason, another reason to stay
Life’s no longer fun here no one brings me a bouquet
Life’s no longer fun here, I am fading away!

Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, ya know I need to make it wait
Steal me, another hour, I need to clean the slate

I need I need some life support, I need I need some life support,
I need I need some life support.  AED won’t help me,
I need I need some life support, don’t want to roll out on this cart
I need I need some life support, Adrenalin needle in my heart

Steal me, another hour, I need to acclimate!
Life’s no longer fun here, I am fading away!
Steal me, another hour, I need to clean the slate!
I need I need some life support, Adrenalin needle in my heart!
I need I need some life support.  AED won’t help me,!

Adrenalin needle in my heart!

Re: A.E.D

Beamer I like the way your lyrics flow without getting to complicated. I guess the lyrics are sort of a metaphor for wanting to stay in a relationship or a situation even though  things aren't working out well at that time?

Beamer

I 'm thinking this is a man that is in deep trouble, and realizes he needs help - not only in making through the impending trouble of the moment, but in his life as well. Kind of - "Please let have an hour and don't let me die, if I make it I'm gonna make significant changes".

As a writer - b/c I'm not much of  a musician, and I know absolutely how punk rock works - I think I would suggest a change that in the  last line from acclimate to " before it's too late"    but hey, it's your song.

Nice work

Re: A.E.D

This has now been placed in SONGS as I go tthe music done.

Thanks guys, you all are a lot deeper than I was on this LOL.   It's a  little autobiographical. (about 25%)
Just a guy who is at a dead end at this turn of life and feels the need to GTFO of where he is and starting to feel  suffocated in his surroundings.
and yes I have the dark dramatic thing going on big_smile ,  makes for good imagry doesnt it? LOL

I honestly just was thinking of "springing back" and the extra hour. But this is the road it lead me down. I liked the catchy hook.
