Topic: The Grey Man

He wears a grey shirt.
He walks in grey shoes.
His socks are made of grey wool.
His trousers are grey plaid.
His overcoat is grey.
He sometimes wears a grey suit.
His kids all think he's boring.
His wife knows his kecks are grey.
The car he drives is grey.
And on top of all his greyness...

Phill

That description probably fits 30 % or more of men over 60.  smile

Great description.

When I was a youngster, we had a guy named Orvis Lunn in our town that wore exactly that everyday.

We used to call him the Gray Man at our town's little theater, where he worked on Friday and Saturday nights - keeping us young'uns under control.

And that's what we would say when we saw him coming to yell at us _ " Gray man's coming" !!!  Thanks for rekindling that memory !

Re: The Grey Man

I may be sad to reveal this but I am describing myself. The boring part comes from the fact that I've never indulged in recreational substances and never drink alcohol to excess. Ann chose the colour of our car (which is grey) but most of my clothes are grey. I don't have any grey guitars, but I'm still looking...lol
