Topic: RAGE

This is not finished.
Exploring the Jekyll & Hyde side of personalities.  inspired by:divorice, BLM, Stupidity, and the songs by FFDP, and Kiss (2 sides of the coin).   Its still in work. but this came out in 10 min.

Standing At the gate,
Should I participate?
A crowd full of hate
Wound up in lies, yet no one tries!


Which way do I go?
I am troubled so.
You see the anger and distrust,
The ceiling is about to bust.


Im standing at the gate,
I feel the anger and the heat.
Staying calm on the outside,
My fire burns, and yet I hide.

Dare me to stand in the path!
Hear me now as I spew my wrath!
You never know it to meet me,
Its that side you are lucky to never see!

I love my kids and I love life,
Yet the monster lurks inside
You never know he is there
I look like I just don’t care.

Next thing you know,
The button is pushed,
Someone got the cut in
The ambush begins.

Dare me to stand in the path!
Hear me now as I spew my wrath!
You never know it to meet me,
Its that side you are lucky to never see!

I think you must have wrotten this about one of my good friends - it describes him pretty well.
Cool calm and collected until he reaches a certain point, then watch out.


Time Bomb might be a good title.

Sounds like something is imminent is always just around the corner.

I see you posted this last year? It is full of rage you describe it well. I suggest you keep it in check for your shredding...is that the right term? Woe betide anyone that is standing in you way when the monster erupts!

A perfect song about  a person with a scary Elephant in the room inside their head erupting once their wound up and ready to rampage. But then again I see the side that stays hidden a volcano that can't quiet erupt. Is that a pressure cooker about to  explode or one about to gently let out its steam.????????? A gem of a song  be interested to hear what comes next Beamer. So far the first ten minutes writing it have been used well.
