Wow, so crazy thinking about JANUARY 2019 already!!! 

For this MONTH`s FSOTM SUGGESTIONS for JANUARY, there will be TWO NAMES drawn OUT OFTHE HAT.   The TWO MEMBERS whose names get pulled out will get to pick a COUPLE OF SONGS EACH for this month`s FSOTM.  It can be ANY SONG of that members choice.

So, PUT YOUR NAMES DOWN TO ENTER and your names will go in the hat and get drawn out at the end of the month.

Here it is the 5th of the month already.

Since neophytte and I are the only 2 that responded it looks like we'll be the one's to get things rolling for January.

Excuse me this sounds really cool but I don't see a song of the month for november 2021 or december 2021. I didn't know where to ask excuse me. This is cool i enjoyed the youtube videos of the unplugged versions, mekidsmom awesome stuff. I didn't like the editing of the soundcloud bit. the raw unplugged you and your guitar that rocked. Man chordie has come up good job moderators and chordie master

Yes this concept faded away after a time. We did enjoy it but life got in the way and people posted less and less frequently.

If you would like to make a suggestion maybe we can get a few people to jump in and revive this idea. smile

See, that rendition of city of new orleans unclejoesband. You didn't have any extra magical equipment just your guitar your buddy and his guitar and you guys owned that song by making it your own. Awesome truly enjoyed that backyard session! Not knocking studio equipment just my personal taste is true acoustic sound. You can hear the medium light gauge strings twang awesome!

That is a good solo performance . As Arlo Gutherie said that has to be one of America's great songs known all over the world made famous by Elvis.     A beautiful tribute to your daughter.

Thanks Peatle. That was just a spare of the moment feelings king of thing. I look back and I had the worst shirt i could have worn. But the feeling and the warmness of maybe hoping she would hear it was just overwhelming and I just did it spare of the moment kind of thing. I have a buddy that has a small bedroom recording studio (his side hobby) that I showed it too and he wants me to lay down a track of that song and then he'll do the editing. If I do I'll share.

LOL   the shirt -  I    went right to it and said - oh, here we go -  but your singing and playing made me forget all about it

Nice not only do you get to hear different flavors but you get to meet the community. I got to go back to the sticky and see how FSOTM works but this wasn't around when i regularly chordied around!
