Here we are in DECEMBER already.  2022 is nearly gone and it always feels like a time of reflection before the New Year hits us.  Also, a busy time for everyone getting ready for Christmas and holidays.

For this MONTH`S FSOTM, anything goes as you can see by the title above. 

1.    Any CHRISTMAS SONG

2.    Any Song about SNOW, WINTER

3.   Any Song about the BEACH, SUN

4.   We have 2 ORIGINAL SONGS entered by Chordie members Grah1 called XMAS CAROL and Neophytte  has one called STORM.

It was quickly recorded between dropping off wife at shops and making kids lunch, so I fluffed up the mid8 that goes back to the verse turn around ... I probably had enough time to re-record it in hindsight, but this is first take, warts 'n' all ...

That  strums  along  nicely  Jim, love  the  chorus  , has  a  bit  of  a John  Prine  feel  to  me .

I love John Prine - one of the great writers.     
I just made a couple small lyric changes and  transposed the chords from E to D so it was easier for me to play and sing.

easybeat, you're too hard on yourself, your entry made me smile when I listened to it.  I don't think you left it up long enough for people to hear it. 

Tigljk, another great bit of writing skills there on your song Give me Christmas.  You just keep on coming up with them, don't know how you do it.  I had a listen on Sound Cloud, and I liked where you were going with this one and the beat to it. 

mojo, great to see you back here after being away so long, thanks for entering a song for us this month.  Great cover, I hadn't heard that song before, so I went to Robert Earl Keen and listened to it and then listened to your cover and you covered it really well, suited your voice.
