lol thanks Richard, was using my 6 stringed Kala ukulele on this one.  It actually is an eight string ukulele but I took 2 of the strings off as I prefer it with 6 strings.

hah, I also did that with my 12 string guitar; take off 3 strings to make it a 9 string ...

Cheers

My 12 string is actually an 11 string as each time I go to put a new string set on I break the high G string. It doesn't seem to make a lot of difference to the sound.

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones  plays his six-string guitars with only five strings and an open G tuning , While he plays with only 5 strings, he uses a slightly heavier set of strings, usually sets of.011 to.042 where the.042 is the fifth string. Richards's favoured open tuning is a five-string open G tuning: GDGBD

Jan and all of you New Zealanders ....

what a classic song......   I had never heard of it before.   A lot of history with that song.

Great cover Jan.

I can picture it being sung by a bunch of people at a party.

Thanks for sharing.
