Topic: AUGUST 2025 FSOTM - JAZZ

This month of AUGUST we are looking forward to your JAZZ performances.   

Some suggested JAZZ performers were Diana Krall, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Amy Winehouse, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan.

Here are some JAZZ songs that were SUGGESTED for anyone to perform.

Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong.
Can`t we be Friends – Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Well done Richard, Jazz is hard to play (well at least for me).  Great how you did both parts.  Congrats for being first to post on here this month.  On a different note, that wee child falling over on the rocks, ouchies.

Thanks ... this was a song that my guitar teacher taught me many years ago and I've kept going as it's a good tune to "play jazz" with ...

Hard to believe that kid falling over is starting high school in a few months!!

I'm  afraid  most  jazz  leaves  me   a  bit    cold  unless  it  is  very  much  in a   blues  vein  .But  I  can understand   its  draw  from a  technical   aspect    . So  well  done  to  those who  can play  it  you  have  my  admiration .
