I can't adjust the speed. It's always on 4.

If the speed stays stuck at 4, it might be a browser cache or script issue. Have you tried refreshing the page or switching to another browser to see if the slider responds there?

It works fine on mine. Try clearing your cookies as they can sometimes cause problems. Number 4 is normally a fairly slow scrolling speed so if yours is scrolling too fast to read properly you definitely have a problem. When you click on a different speed is the chosen number highlighted in blue?
