unwelcome visitor

i have an unwelcome visitor
living in my house
i named him Fred
because i wished he where dead
i gave him a name
because i think he felt
he was one of the family
he `d been staying around
annoying me for so long
so today i`d had enough
D (ead) Day
i bought a can of fly spray
and chased and sprayed him all day
fred was fast and tricky
so i resorted to a fly swot
old fashion  but effective
one good swing
he met his end
now he`s just a stain on the glass

Nice one Brian, we've all been there, I've had to put up a fly net to stop Fred's distant relatives getting in. Talley ho!
