Topic: giutalele eadgbe tuning
Just fitted some Hannabach 890 mt strings to my Yamaha guitalele which means its now in standard tuning.EADGBE
Sounds good even though they are still bedding in.

Yamaha GL1 its like a small acoustic guitar uke size great for travelling ,even better now its in standard tune

That is a great choice of strings for standard tuning! Traditional guitarlele strings lose far too much tension when tuned down from A to E, leading to fret buzz and muddy intonation.
Those Hannabach 890s handle the shorter scale length much better by keeping enough string tension to maintain clean note clarity. Just give them a few days of frequent retuning to stretch properly, and they should settle in nicely. Standard chord shapes on a pocket-sized instrument are always a fun setup!
