Topic: Recording songs

Howdy,

Am looking to start recording at home. However, aside from a mic I have no idea what else is needed to make a passable recording. Any help much appreciated

Cheers

Re: Recording songs

Check out Northern Lights FX website. They have a personal recording kit that is portable and can record directly from your guitar. Their website is http://www.northernlightfx.com/cart/home.php?cat=1175

Not sure if this is what you want.

Re: Recording songs

Hello Philo,

I found this free ware mixer program and with it you can record directly onto you computer, add more tracks to your recording and burn a cd with all your recordings. I'm not a pro but I have gotten very good results with this. It is the Kristal Audio Engine.

the url is: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/

hope this helps you out.
