Topic: STRUMMING

Is there a rule from strumming or a definition?
What is the influence of strumming in a song, like down  down up up down up?
If you play down down down in stead of down up  down, is this important or "exaggerated"?

Re: STRUMMING

It is what it is.

As far as I'm concerned strumming is a very important rhythm element of a song.  The best at it, as far as I'm concerned anyway, are the Irish folk players.  When I listen to my Celtic CD's, my jaw drops in wonder.
