Topic: Creating New Songbooks......

Hi,

I have built quite an extensive songbook and want to split it into different types of music.  Is it possible to copy certain songs to a new songbook without having to go through the whole process of adding individual songs to the new book?

Hi Kieth & welcome to chordie!

Yes, you can easily create new songbooks and move songs.  Log in, go to your songbook, and click 'add book' to make a new book.

To move or copy items, go to the bottom of the old songbook's listings.  There is a menu there.  You can check multiple songs and then simply 'move', copy', or 'delete'.

Thanks for the reply and my apologies for not acknowledging it beforehand; I have just returned from holiday.

I will try your suggestions for my new songbook.

Incidentally, I am from Folkestone in England.
