Topic: need a POPULAR acoustic song

hey everybody, im kinda new to guitar and i need a song i can play that i actually know the strumming to, and i dont know a lot of oldies, so i need some help...any ideas?

Any Eagles acoustic songs are good.  Of course, Taquilla Sunrise is a favorite!  Also, Wish you Were Here by Pink Floyd!  Short and sweet!

pink floyd, wish you were here,
audioslave , i am the highway, they are both good songs and easy to play along to

i am an amateur when it comes to playing guitars as well and if u take my opinion out of all the songs suggestions, knockin' on heaven's doors is the one i found easier. also, when i started, i did Good Riddance by Green Day big_smile, which was the first one i ever played on my guitar. the chrods are easy to switch and the strumming is easy, the only part u'd have to concentrate initially would be the guitar picking smile cool
