Topic: Open tunings... playing slide

I have been listening to Ben Harper lately and I am amazed by his skill at the lap steel guitar. Recently, I have been experimenting with a slide and open D tuning and it has opened up many new doors. I am trying to figure out what other tunings I should learn next. What are your favorite tunings to use while playing slide?

Electric:  Schecter C-1, Hot-rodded strat
Acoustic: Ovation Celebrity Deluxe, Epiphone

DAGDAD or tune to any major or minor theres a site that explains all the alternant tunnings I dont have the link I think guitarpix or topdown might be able to help furthur

i use open "e" ebeg#be it helps becouse the chords are in the same fret as my guitar barr chords
