Topic: Nightswimming - REM

I know this is primarily (and only) piano song, but I'm really interested to play this as a slow, acoustic guitar song....

Does anyone know possible tabs or a way of playing it? I'm totally hopeless at relating sounds etc, and I'm also not amazing at playing, so something fairly simple would be much appreciated!

Many Thanks!

Dr.

Brilliant, Will give it a go tonight, I think i might replace the D5 with a D7, I've really got a thing for switching to D7 lately over other forms of D.

The D5 is a shotened version of a D . The 5th variations  are often called power chords. The D7 will work in some spots but not all. You'd probably be better off playing the regular D in this particular tune.
Actually I just played through the song and both the D and the D7 work nicely. Maybe alternate D one time and D7 the next............Great song, have fun!
