Someone plz help me im trying to learn a gnr song( whole song)
But most ive tried are hard.

I need advice on the intro to Dont cry because the usual one for odnt cry's intro doesnt work.
And i have only been playing guitar for 1 month so i need advice on Stuff my fav guitarist slash uses.

I am presumming you know guns and roses quiet well then and you know how the songs go but jsut find them hard to play? I hope so!!!
I love the band but like you have difficulty in playing some of there songs, hmm, in fact, most of them,lol
For a start G'n'R tune down so if you try to play along you will have to tune your guitar down so it sounds the same.
I know that "I used to love her" is probably the easiest one to do, chords

also, civil war. I love doing civil war, a wee tiny bit trickier but this version is good and easy to play

I tried Sweet child o mine but kept failing because of hitting wrong string. How do i stop that.?
Thanx but i dont really know i used to love her that much.
gnr did a great rendition of knockin on heavens door, originally by bob dylan, the chords are the same, in fact the whole song is the same except for slash adds in some original riffs here and there. patience is a good one too.

Slash was the guitarist that first inspired me to play.
Slash is one of the best but he didn't get there in a month or a year or even 2 or 3 years. There is no magick guitar god potion that will make you sound like him. But you can in time. Take it slow. Learn each note of each riff at your own pace and once you've got it try it at combat speed.Do that until you have the entire song down. Remember the sound also comes from his equipment. He plays mainly Les Paul guitars,with a Marshall tube amp, a Dunlop crybaby pedal (usually pulled back to the bass position to give his guitar that extra growl) and he brings years of experience to the table. Keep working at it and soon you will play all of the GnR songs. Some easier ones to start with are Paradise City, My Michelle, Nighttrain and both versions of Crazy. Good luck!!!!
