Topic: Power chords

Hi Everybody,

  I was hoping someone could direct me to a good site that teaches power chords, diagrams, possibly a site that shows all power chords, I appreciate any help, thanks guys!

A "power chord" is just an interval of a perfect 5th.   There's not really a whole lot to know about them other than that, other than turn the gain and volume up a lot.  big_smile

i'm no proffessor but the way i play power chords is......
place my 1st finger on the low E string, then skip a fret and place my 3rd & 4th on the next 2 strings like i'm playing Em.
i fooled around and found that different frets corrospond to the chords that you normally play, like E, D, & A.
you can move your fingers down a string each and play different chords.
hope thats not too confusing, but it works really well once you get the hang of it.
