Topic: Body Repair

Hello!

How easy / difficult / cheap / expensive is this to repair? I accidentley gave my guitar a bit of a ding!

Are we talking gaffa and lots of it? It can a woodsman repair it?

You'll need to take it to a competent luthier.  It might well be quite expensive; if the guitar is an inexpensive one to start with, it may well be cheaper to simply replace it.

Yea, that's a heck of a "ding".  Man, I feel your pain... I agree with dguyton.  With that hard of a hit you may have other hidden issues. Have a luthier look at it. What kind of guitar is it? Is this on the back?

the guitar itself is not very valuable in monies, but it was passed down so there is some of that there.

It was a massive bang, I kind of thwacked it into a set of drawers, the neck has kind of come off as well, but that can be reglued.

Its really rather annoying!
