Help! count into chorus of Change Partners (Stills)

I'm going nuts trying to get the count into the chorus of Stills "Change Partners". I think it switches to 2/4 with a rhumba kinda of thing but I can't get into it or lock onto a tempo for the first line. It's making me feel totally stupid. Can anyone help?
