Topic: Transatlantic Sessions

I don't know if anyone in the UK has caught any of this on the good ole BBC. A group of musicians from both sides of the Atlantic (a different group each week) get together and see what comes out. The result is usually quite beautiful. Here's a link to the latest helping; have a look. It's about 30mins long but I think it's well worth a look and listen.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

Re: Transatlantic Sessions

nice music, but it's not really a transatlantic session though... I think latency is still too bad to do live links ups with musicians in different locales...

Re: Transatlantic Sessions

I suppose not if you're going to get that picky about it. But musicians from USA, Canada, Scotland, England and Ireland is pretty transatlantic in my book. I could watch this kinda thing for hours on end.

Re: Transatlantic Sessions

Perhaps a United Nations of Music get together.  No matter how you look at it, people from different countries are making music together.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.
