Topic: If I Were Santa

If I were Santa, I'd bring to the world
Everything that all the good people deserve.
Though some folks are grumpy
And some folks get mad
I'd like to make Christmas
The best one they've had.

I'd like to turn Scrooge into the patron of alms
And Myra Hindley into Mother Teresa's heart.
The Taliban into reindeer to pull my sleigh
The Nazi's into helpers, making presents all day.

Nuclear weapon's would turn into toys
And guns and bombs and missiles destroyed.
So knives would be piano's,
Bows and arrows guitars.
And clean electricity would drive all our cars.

If I were Santa, this world would be nice
It's a dream I would strive for, the rest of my life

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Very nice Phill!  I really enjoyed this!

Art and beauty are in the eyes of the beholder.
What constitutes excellent music is in the ears of the listener.

Re: If I Were Santa

Now wouldnt all this be just splendid Phill ?

I guess its on another plain altogether.

Myra Hindleys name send shivers through me reading this. She was a badun no doubt. I read about her and the Moors Murders a long time ago.

Old Doll.

Why Blend in with the Crowd ? When you were made to stand out !
