Topic: Americas Got Talent

I watched Michael Grimm do this song the other night on Americas Got Talent and he blew me away with his rendition of an old Ray Charles song, "You Don't Know Me".  I found the song and even transposed the chords to help me reach the notes, but for the life of me, I can't figure out all the chords he uses, even though I can see him play it.  Can anyone lay out the chords for me on this?

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: Americas Got Talent

Hi Pete,
I googled up an Eddy Arnold arrangement in key of C that is a much more comfortable key for an old codger like me than E (a young man's key).

You can add passing chords to the verse changes like C,Em,Am and G before the F change and maybe an Eb diminished after the F. Then C,Am,Dm and G before returning to C.
The bridge changes can be spiced up but also can go as written.
If you would like me to arrange this for you, I would be delighted. I'm retired. I have time.
Shoot me an e-mail, sir.
