Guitar chord forum - chordie → About Chordie → Sharing a songbook with my UKU group ...
New chum here, have created a 'my songbook' and now want other members of my group to be able to view it and add songs ..... can't work out how to do this from the "change" or "share" buttons provided. I have figured that I can send the songbook to them via email, but would like them all to be able to add stuff in it ..... is there a way we can all share a user name and password to do this, and if so, how can I do that?

I have the very same issue. I want to be able to share a songbook with a group of people who can all have immediate/shared access to an account. To be able to propose/vote/add/promote songs to a songbook and be able, when collected together for a (non-profit) confluence of a particul terRICfic instrument manufacturer, to share that songbook via a projector and a laptop connected to the internet. Music stands and pages are soooooo 1999....
I think Chordie would really benefit from being able to offer this service to users!

You would have to all log in with the same user name and password to do this but I am not sure how Chordie would handle it if several people in different locations were logged on at the same time. I will consult with the web master and get back to you on this.
If this is possible the biggest danger is that if one person is silly and gets banned from the site then effectively all are banned and no one can the access the songbook.

I understand your concern. And, I think that's fair. It would require cooperation and playing well together by all the group members- something any group of musicians should be able to do already!
