Topic: "The Girl I Left Behind" cover

A whimisical song I heard someone do one night at a local open mic; sharing my attempted version.  I thought it entertaining and hope you find it cute.

Hey Amy; Didn't you say your husband does tatts?  This song could be an inspiration for you to get "his" picture strategically placed. LOL  Doing this is just another way to forward my comfort zone about trying to play and "sing" (if you call it that)  in the public arena.  No professional aspirations, just wanting to get okay enough to enjoy it with others.

Hey Toots, I enjoyed those and some of the other stuff I saw on the U with John and you.  I also liked your story on the other thread about you fill-in, turned regular gig.  Good for you.

Ha ha Jim!  I don't think I would ever get a portrait tattoo or names (except maybe my kids).  I figure, since all the tattoos I have are done by him, he's already got his mark on me.  LOL!  Likewise, I drew up a tattoo for him that he actually tattooed on himself... so there's my mark on him!  LOL!

Jim, I honestly have to say that I think your voice has AWESOME potential.  You have a good natural sound, very pleasant.  Hone that along with the guitar skills that you're gaining and everyone around is really going to enjoy it even more with you!  I hope that didn't sound negative at all because it's not.  I can just hear how great your voice is going to be the more you practice (it's not bad now)... and you have a way with your strumming that is really coming along great.  I can't believe you've only been playing for a very short time... you have it in you sir!
