Peatle
thx for the video, but i didnt enjoy it,just off to smash up my guitars now.

Phill
theres certainly a lot of strange, rearranged, upside down, inside out, round the wrong way, inverted, reverted, converted, perverted, rorted, aborted, distorted
concave ,convex, confused, concerning, stuff going on in our country nowadays.

Phill i like a bit of everything, but i do have a soft spot for basic vocal and guitar.
i do have a fascination with hearing how a song started out its life.
eg.i love Elton johns song  60 yrs on.
Mccartneys live and let die
nothing wrong with a big production.

in all my hobbies there are two words that i dont know what they mean

fantastic musicianship brilliant arrangements
love the line up that made the albums early seventies, a bit of rock thrown in
to their usual mix.still playing today.

oh sorry guys it was his music that i dont like, as much as ive tried.
as a person he seems a nice guy.

Neo
ive had this comment about the reverb before,i use it to hide my horrible voice.
ive  gone back each time and listened on multiple devices and it seems ok.
perhaps ill dial reverb back,as i think its important to hear the words
thx for your comment always welcome good or bad.

Ed Sherran is an artist that plays stadiums with just guitar and loop pedal.
im amazed and impressed.thought i better check his music out.
well it didnt do anything for me.
i must be wrong as he`s huge.

Peatle wanted another survey,im sure he thought anything to distract me
from posting another bloody poem.

death metal or bubblegum
six string guitar or six string guitar
ballad or rocker
live music or dead music
music shop or online

this should get some interesting answers.

not as good as there big hit, but still pretty good.

Im with you on the beatles ,so many great songs .
the stones did some great songs also,i think we tend to put the beatles ahead
because of their range of music eg helter skelter to yellow submarine to hey jude
but we often forget, sympathy for the devil to lady jane to wild horses

one of my favourite videos

i used a bit of poetic licence,we actually won a game once.
it ruined our 100% losing record though.of course it didnt
say much for the team we beat.

One of the sports i play is tennis.we have a team of old guys
that travel around in summer to various clubs and usually compete
against  players quite a bit younger.but know one enjoys it more than us
no matter the result.

Dizzy Heights of D Grade
there once was a team
at the bottom of the grade
they were digging their own hole
with a raquet not a spade
had not one point
at the end of the season
not being good players
was probably the reason
all of the team
enjoyed a good hit
but often admitted
that they`d played like s***

so i will see out the week as promised, but will post
forgotten songs that i like.mostly 6os.
you wont hear any of these on the sixties radio stations
they tend to play only middle of the road 60 songs.

pretty well all rock bands have the same line up of instruments.
this band were not afraid to throw everything but the kitchen sink into their music.
live this song had a amazing spoon solo.

It was just a moment in time
a star that shone so bright
then turned to dust

it was just a moment in time
a shiny metal object
then it turned to rust

Don Patridge didnt enjoy fame and all the stuff that came with it.
he was a busker before his hit records and happily returned to busking.
last i heard busking in Germany

there was a man
up on the hill
head in the clouds
standing quite still
such deep concentration
he was staring out
i wondered to myself
whats that   all about
on closer inspection
i felt such a fool
for that was a statue
up on the hill

there is soooooooooo much stuff being posted lately HOORAY

previous posts.

Its great to see an artist that isn`t doing country ``the approved way``
