Jim thank you and the one you posted  from  West VA was great. She kind of reminds me  of an early Janis Joplin in the way she feels what she sings.

CG I love her voice and the organ guitar sound with a good bit of pounding brass bits. Magic

I am so glad  you took time to listen to her and liked what you heard. She is very talented and just released a new CD.

She has a classic "old" blues voice. This is 2 am smoky bar music and I love it.

Thank you Bill. The Nortons  are a family group, one brother plays the drums, one plays guitar, and she sings and plays bass and the perfect voice for blues and your comments are very much appreciated.

Also here is a small guy who happened to be in  a guitar shop.   In a few more years he may be great.

It usually means what the song is to the playing who does several songs. It took me 5 years and I wrote 25 original songs. Many were written and named after people  and the rest are named odes or sonnets. It means more to me to know what song I play and still  I recorded a CD with  alll of them on it.

Ewan Dobson was fun watch.  All though he made some string noise I doubt he could hear it and his playing was clear without tricks so he respected his guitar.  Very nice choice.

More great work and like many of what you have posted previously  you say  a lot and more between the lines too.  I  hope you record this one so we can hear it too.

It happens so do not worry about it. I had listened to all of their previous CD's and at least to me I listed what sounded like the best 2 to list and I also read a lot about the group. I try very hard to cover all my basis before I list a group. I am more impressed that you realized it was from a post by someone else.

TF both of them were great and both were playing Martins and were really clean players. I had not heard them before and honestly enjoyed  watching them. They played together as if they did so each day and both used thumb picks.  Nice find.

If I could time travel I would want want to meet Andrés Segovia (1893-1987) is considered to be the father of the modern classical guitar . Without him most likely people like me would not truly exit.

She is interesting but she could not use that type of taping if  it did not have an electric pickup. I watched  others by her and  her just playing is really good too. I had not seen the technique before and it look like it was made to tap that way. Good find TF.
