Dino before you invest in a set of new clubs rent a set and see if you still want to learn and if your serious about the game and you have a few bucks to spare take some lessons from the course pro and the pro will tell you what kind of clubs would be best for your swing speed, weight and length of the shafts or just get a inexpensive set and have fun ![]()

Chordie is a search engine it dose not host songs it finds them from other sites and indexes them any new stuff will have to be added from the sites that host the songs
I love this site, however everyon'e songboook seems to have the same songs, over & over. Doesn't anyone have any "new Stuff" to contribute???

Well whatever you call it its a butt ugly chord position on a fretboard and three F's is a little redundant and it ain't rock, country or a blues chord so the chance of me playing it are non existent but to each his own ![]()

Re: Chord Name Question (21 replies, posted in Music theory)
adding the 4th in F major would have to be a Bb but adding a B the tone is raised a half interval thus a sus 4th.

Re: Chord Name Question (21 replies, posted in Music theory)
In F major FGABbCDEF raising the 4th (Bb) to B natural would make it a suspended 4th there are no sharps in F it is one of the flat keys and a natural sign would be in order.

Re: spider exercise (1 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
hello routhless and welcome to Chordie, its not a dumb question spider exercises help strengthen and improve coordination of your fretting hand one easy exercise is to place your 1st finger on the E string 5th fret and the next on the 6th middle on the 7th and pinky on the 8th then transfer your 1st finger to the 5th string 5th fret while holding down your other fingers then move each finger over to the 5th string one at a time till all your fingers are on the 5th string then repeat this to the 4th,3rd,2nd and 1st then go backwards one at a time remember to keep your fingers down till its time to move it each finger has a fret its going to feel a little wierd but with practice it will get smooth, regarding learning music theory Chordie offers a course (Jamplay) the link is at the top of all the pages ![]()

Jeff by standard blues do you mean the progression of chords or a particular song? the reason I ask is there are many forms of the blues BB King,John lee Hooker even Led Zepp,Leo Kottke take the blues to another dimension.I currently am impressed with the background music for the TV show "The Closer" some very nice slide guitar work (I'm steeling the licks) or should I say borrowing ![]()
