TF

Prog rock to me- is mood related.  sometimes I can listen for hours, other times its hard or me to listen to it.  I pretty much love Yes, Emerson  Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd, and Iron Butterfly - not too familiar with many others , but probably if I went in my attic and dusted off the 400 vinyl albums there   I'd probably find a few more PR groups I listened to in college.  smile

Thanks for sharing your PR finds  TF.

Phill,

I caved in and bought a new computer  it has windows 10 on it.

No issues yet...like it a lot .... except the photo story program I used on my old computer is not available for windows 10. I gave microsoft an unpleasant communication on that.  But overall , the system is working terrific
Hope yours continues to be fantastic as well.

I have no idea what its like to go to studio, but I do know that you are a great writer with a unique style.  Whatever songs you choose to do in the studio, keep your ownership stamped all over it - don't change. To me it is your uniqueness that makes your songs inimitable and distinctive.  I really admire the works you have shared... always the top shelf!

I am looking forward to studio versions.  Good luck !   ( and to all Chordians- we can say we knew him before he was famous - when he was just a gherkin!) smile

that was hysterical      turn off sound and you think he is playing for a metallica band.

by the reaction afterward - i would guess that he actually is the star of the band, not the singer.( although she was  excellent)
thanks for sharing

We need a Christmas song for December, so my new recommendation is "Christmas for Cowboys" by John Denver.

If we're going to consider Christmas songs, here would be mine.

absolutely.....

some people see roses, some see thorns

I personally liked it....   not as gut wrenching comical as some of their (Flight of the Concords) other performances.... but it was quite clever and well performed.
Thanks for sharing Peatle

Awesome poet

How lucky of a Generation are we to have had poets like him, dylan, Angelou..etc.... ?

So many creative inspirations

I like that song Tower of Song, but my fave is still Halleluiah.

I saw a few other videos you posted working with large cut  lumber - is that part of your occupation or just a hobby ?   Really cool stuf.

Thanks for the listen and kind words.  ( To answer your question - it's my wife.)

I 'd love to hear your versions too. AS you can tell I can't play well or sing for crap so I really enjoy it when those of you who can cover one of my songs. [If you don't want to sing it - I'd just like to hear how you played it.]

Thanks again
