I don't even know what a pre Amp is
I have a Fender 212R Frontman Amp that I will occasionally hook up when no else is home and a little Marshall MG 15Cf amp that I use to play in my office with headphones so as not to bother anyone else in my house. To be honest, I don't even know what most of the stuff on the fender amp does. The one thing I do like is that I can hook up the Acoustic electric Martin and Alvarez, or the les Paul and Ibanez's I have and pretend that I actually know how to play electric.
I do like to hook up my trio and play - it helps me with strumming on beat and gives me some alternative sound ideas. It's fun to me and each time I play them hooked up, I get a little better and I learn something new.

Thanks Badeye.... good one.
I like the Micky Newberry version as well.
Brings a lot ofus all back to the days we don't tell our kids about
Happy Birthday Badeye !
Here's hoping that all the colors of the rainbow shine for you on your birthday, not just the blues !

That's why no great story ever starts with " hey - ya wanna have a salad with me ? "

What a great find!!!! I seriously don't know how you pull off one caper after another!!!!
This was awesome - packed with great blues.
I sincerely hope everyone watched/listened to the whole video....but for those of you on limited time - at least go to the 37 minute mark and watch the end..... it's like a celebrity all star show!! Really, really good !!
Thanks again Badeye and keep them coming !!!

"Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except only the the best." - Henry Van Dyke
nice i like it
are you going to let us hear it ?
I'll root for Cubs if the play Indians, but if it's the BLUE JAYS, I'll be pulling for # 37 Jason Grilli
He is my brother's nephew.
good one nice of the ladies to perform for a good cause
hope they reached their goal
they played and sang very well
Monster Mash is my favorite
I did a real quick - one take recording- of how i play it.
Pretty much the purpose being that someone with playing and singing talent could get an idea of what it is supposed to sound like and maybe do a cover of it if they liked it.
anyway === my sincerest apologies to your ears..:)

real nice ----- I too, would have enjoyed more of it, but thanks for sharing a wee bit of heaven
Jim
i have found that using two capos one in each direction on the same fret works
I was just messing around with some chords this morning and came up with this, hope you like it.

Thanks Badeye - That was a pleasure to listen too. She does indeed sound like her Papa - ( plant beans you get beans!) - which is a good thing in this case. The arrangement and performance were superb. She made it her own, yet kept the raspyness voice of Fogerty in in it a bit. I always get something out of your picks it seems. Thanks for all your trouble in doing these and the Friday blues ones as well !
Keep 'em coming buddy !

How about a little woody guthrie - this land is your land ?
Johnny Horton - battle of New Orleans
One of my dear friends is world renowned artist Louise Fishhman.
She lives in Manhatten, but her summer farm is in my town.
She is quite a woman if you read her biography. Her forte is abstract art.
My brother's nephew is Jason Grilli who pitches for the Totonto Blue Jays. He pitched a great 8th inning last night in their playoff win vs. Baltimore Orioles.
One of my best friends son (Ian Smith) is lead guitarist for country music's Sara Evans
Other than that - I just live near a whole bunch of very nice " nobodies" !
Those are awesome - all of you are quite uniquely talented!!
It's amazing to see how well you all melded together. I especially enjoyed Katie's performance... love when children perform.... they seem to always steal the show.
Well done - you all get 5 stars from me !!
Jim
Both very nice videos.
Talented players and singers.
too bad about the rain ... small price to pay however for having good friends getting together for some picking and grinning.
Someday maybe I'll be able to make one of these.
Jim
