[Song]
{t:Slow Dance (for the rest of our lives) }
C                                                                F
She’s got those eyes that   look right through me
G7                                                                        C
Her tender touch always makes me feel just right
C                                                                     F
So graceful as she moves around the dance floor
G7                                                                     C
I could dance with her all through the night

Chorus
F                                                                                    C
With her arms around me, the world just goes away
        F                                                         C
her kiss makes  heartache  fade into the night
         F                                                                C
Oh,  please make this  love song  last forever
G7                                G                     C
A slow dance for the rest of our lives

C                                                                F
She’s got a heart that ‘s full of love and kindness
G7                                                                          C
And a smile just like early morning sunlight
C                                                                 F
So graceful as she moves around the dance floor
G7                                                                      C
I could dance with her all through the night

Chorus
F                                                                                    C
With her arms around me, the world just goes away
        F                                                         C
her kiss makes  heartache  fade into the night
         F                                                                C
Oh,  please make this  love song  last forever
G7                                G                     C
A slow dance for the rest of our lives
G7                                G                     C
A slow dance for the rest of our lives
G7                                G                     C
A slow dance for the rest of our lives

Great video, great music.

Isn't amazing to see guy's (and girls) like Pegleg and think about what their lives were like.  The true "home of the blues"  - life's stories!
here's a link to one of my fave women blues performers.... Lucinda Williams.... it's @ a NPR tiny Desk Performance........ There are 4 songs.... I love the one at 14:20  called west Memphis- it's based on a true story as well -        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTu4cXW9H_Q

Thanks for sharing Badeye... you are spot on again !

Wow Mojo.....  I do believe I see a song in what you wrote !!
Sit back after a couple days and re-read it... I'm sure it will come.

a couple of lines that really jumped out at... might be titles for your song.....
*can't stop the words no more than I can stop the rain
*fading into a storm
*tears among the rain
*words are like me today dark and blue

just to point out a few smile

you are a very, very good writer...... let it flow man

and better days to you -
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains  end !! ):

OK
after going through hundreds of posts and trying to search - I have given up.

I thought it was Dino or Russell that got a new Fender modern player charcoal color guitar.

I ws looking at them on musicians friend site and they have then with no NYS sales tax and was actually considering getting one.

However as I was reading reviews  I rllaized that about half the reviews were the same for these guitars as many of the other guitars.  WTF is that - do they have people that just write reviews for theses places ?  I have come to the conclusion that  reviews online are pretty useless.  Guess I just have to go to a guitar shop and play one.

Russell and Dino - if it was you, do you like yours ? I remember one of you telling me you got yours for $ 299 or something rediculous  , now it's  selling for $ 499

Lol

I don't even know what a pre Amp is smile

I have a Fender 212R Frontman Amp that I will occasionally hook up when no else is home and a little Marshall MG 15Cf amp that I use to play in my office with headphones so as not to bother anyone else in my house. To be honest, I don't even know what most of the stuff on the fender amp does.  The one thing I do like is that I can hook up the Acoustic electric Martin and Alvarez, or the les Paul and Ibanez's I have and pretend that I actually know how to play electric. smile I do like to hook up my trio and play - it helps me with strumming on beat and gives me some alternative sound ideas.   It's fun to me and each time I play them hooked up, I get a little better and I learn something new.

I did a real quick - one take recording- of how i play it.

Pretty much the purpose being that someone with playing and singing talent could get an idea of what it is supposed to sound like and maybe do a cover of it if they liked it.

anyway ===  my sincerest apologies to your ears..:)
