We are laughing with you, of course.  It is the B chord we are talking about.  It is just very difficult to play for some of us.  Since it is so hard to play, we just get together and make fun of it.

Well good.  I'm glad you found it.  You have to look hard to find some things.  Welcome to Chordie

As a matter of fact, I did some serious checking and found out that all serial killers were kept in the dark basement and forced to learn the B chord before they could be released.

LOL.  I knew you could give a full and decisive explanation.  I think Jack the Ripper aslo favored the B chord.

The best guitar in the world is the one we are comfortable with and sounds good to us.

Just for those of us that can't play a barre chord very good.  Not only do you have to barre with your first finger, but you also have to hold three strings down 2 frets higher.  You only hear complaints from those of us who can't barre well.  In other words we don't practice the barre chords enough to get good, after playing open chords for many years.
Zurf can expalin much better than I how evil and dark the B chord can be.

That's hilarious, Zurf.  Good one.  Ban the B

And a good looking guitar it is.  If it sounds as good as you say, you got a great deal.  Good luck.  I know you will have fun with it.

I don't think anyone has ever captured Van Morrisons style.  Nor did he ever do a mediocre song.

Happy mothers day to all of you moms out there.  I wish you the best.  I am fortunate to have my mother still here.  She is 87 and still kicking strongly.

I don't know much about either, but I think you should get them both.  Good luck.  Sounds like a bargain on the resonator.

I feel the same as you, Old Doll.  I just found it odd that Willie has songs like that.  Very unusual.

That is a beautiful song by Brook Benton, Old Doll.  And I've always liked Moon River, Roger.  Here's a good one from Air Supply.

You're a slave master PapaTom.  Rough on the things you love.  Just so you don't treat the women in your life the same way.  smile
I generally keep twop or three guitars around.  One is usually an older, not as good sounding as the nice ones.  This is the one I play at barbques and such.  You are probably the same with pets.  You'd rather get one from the shelter than buy a pure bred.

Ah, alass, the buttocks are the brunt of many a joke, but a good place for the B chord, nevertheless

I don't know the technical answer to this, but, I do know that whatever is more comfortable and easier for you is the right way. We all do things differently.

Thanks again, Roger.  If I would have asked for a new password before it would have asked for my old one and even if I knew my old one, it would have sent the new one to my old defunct email address.  You're the man.
