You are never wrong to do it your way.  Lots of guitarists have their own way of strumming, picking and fingering chords.  Whatever is easier for you is the right way.

Ah, very touching story Old Doll.  A story a lot of us can relate to in one form or another.  Love hurts, anyway you look at it.  And the memories of true love stay with us forever.  smile

That was a sad thing.  It'll be interesting to see what they change on the luge course to keep this from happening again.

bensonp sits down and watches the lovely couple swoon to Frank Sinatra.  What a dancer that topdown is.  I wish I had those steps in my repertoir.  But bensonp waits patiently and wonders if this is the longest song he's ever heard, then the dance comes to a end and he asks Old Doll for one more dance.  Lionel Ritchie
He looks into her eyes as they walk to the dance floor.

Alright, Old Doll.  That was a good dance tune.  Smiling sheepishly, bensonp puts on the next song for one more dance.  The Platters

Good song, Old Doll.  Everybody hurts must give you mixed emotions. Here's one by Harry Nilsson.

I looked all over, too, with no luck.  You can buy the sheet music here if you really want it bad.

As the end of my life draws near
There is still one thing that I fear.
I never reached that point of fame
And someday never really came.

Yep, I'll be watching quite a bit of the Olympics this year.  I like both summer and winter olympics.  It should be an exciting time this year.

I love Sam Cooke.  He had a lot of great songs.
Here is one that is not as old as most of the others in here, but I sure do love it.

Lots of good things, I can see
as I sit here pondering of what could be.
It is not that I wanted to be a bum
I just keep thinking that someday will come.

It's amazing what some people will spend to build things like this.  It's pretty cool, but you can only see them good from the air.

I have trouble with all picks.  I use them sometimes, but I have become more comfortable with out them.  You need to use the pick you want to become good with and use it all the time.  It will become second nature in time.
