Why don't you add your new songs to a second songbook?

Fun is what it's all about.  You,ve found a lot more sounds that are available to you. There is always something new to learn.

Glad i could spark some memories, Old Doll.  I remember my dad used to listen to old country and western alot.  I guess that might be why i love it so much now.

it's great here now.  72 degrees.  Friday it's supposed to be down inthe 50's. i'm only 40 miles from Cedar.

I think I've used most of those at one time or another.  I did't know they were lies.

I noticed my thumb is usually wrapped clear around the neck.  I play most chords that way, but if I pick notes on the D chord, some strings don't ring clear.  someone else pointed out to me that my thumb was too high.  It works.  it's a little uncomfortable, but with time it gets better.  so concentrate on that thumb for awhile.

try holding your thumb on the back of the neck down much further.  This should bring your fretting fingers straight up on the strings rather than slanted.  it helped me.

Well pastor, I've looked all over the web and found no chords for the song.  ususally I am pretty god at finding them, but not this one.  it could still be out there somewhere.  Topdown is good at finding songs.  maybe he will come along later and find it.  Good luck

I like that song also, but have never tried it.  For some reason, I must think it is too hard.  I don't know.

I traveled to Seneca a couple of times for my job when Seneca army depot was there.  Beautiful area

copperhead road.  I never thought i would play it, but i have listened to it enough lately, that i really love the song.  I am trying to learn it now. And in Dropped D tuning, which i've never tried.

Thanks Pastor.  I just love all the old things.  They sure do bring back memories.  The young people have a different set of memories for sure.  And so it should be.

I do the same thing, Zurf.  i play and sing softly when the wife is here and really sing it out when i happen to be alone.  just the way we were programmed i guess.  And yeah, it does feel good
