Thank you.   My feeling is that if it sounds good to you the way you play it, then that is how I would want it played.  I actually wrote it one night after my buddy told me his wife was leaving him. I was trying to imagine what that felt like. Enjoy, and play on brother !! JK

I changed the chords  - using  a C7 and B7 in the last the last line of each verse - Picked u the idea from a tip from guitar coach = Mike Hayes - Australia ----     it sounds so mucher better - kinda like a jazzy country sound.  Kudos to Mike !! Thanx

I have an MP3 of me singing ( I 'mnot very good) but at least you can know what it is supposed to sound like . You would have to email me so I can send it - otherwise - I have no clue how to get the sound to you.

Thanks for the kudo    I am truly sorry for your losses - no one can imagine the devastation of emotionsin situations like yours  unless they experience it  - I would like to know when you get your song done because i love songs that come from the heart - and I know yours will be.   We have a lot of people here in NY going through tough times too after Hurricane Sandy  .   Best wishes and prayers to you and your family .  I will send a copy of the mp3 of the song to your email - I hope thats ok.  Take care  JK

we're getting pounded with rain and high winds in upstate NY but Long Island is really in bad shape.  Tide is rolling in to houses

Very cool -  I had a similar experience in attempted soul saving - didn't work either.  I am amazed at your guitar skills for not having played for a while.  Maybe I should stop for a while and I would improve to that level ! smile   Anyway - very  very nice

I re-wrote this - changed chords - play it soft  4/4  Hope you like it !  I have trouble going from A to Bm  but it sounds much better with these chords - fits the song nicer.

Just got a demo produced in Nashville .  It sounds (in my humble and definitetly biased opinion smile )  pretty darn good.  The company that produced it, is pitching it for me for a contract -  but I am also free to pitch it -  is anyone on chordie familiar with how to pitch to recording companies or even radio stations?

If you want to hear it, email me and I will send you an MP3 of it.

no - I just listened to them from your links though - pretty cool songs I had never heard before.  I was just sitting around and had heard a line from country song about cowgirls and it just kinda popped in to my head.   I wrote a few lines - forgot about it -  then waited about three weeks and accidentally came across what I had written and started playing some chord progressions - and it just kinda flowed from there. Thanks for checking it out though.
