Welcome to the Wonderful World of Retirement !!!   At first it seems like you have lots to keep busy.... you know all the things you always wanted to do when working was not on the menu.  Then you run out of those things, and get into some boring routine that feels a lot like work anyway.  At least you will have time to polish your Guitar Collection, and plenty of time for Practice.

Enjoy !!!

It's not so much a matter of exporting files from Chordie as much as it is a matter of "Importing" things from Chordie into your app.  Chordie stores no "files", just links to files out in "webland" and a tiny patch of code so the music you linked to is displayed in a uniform manner (and any preferences you might have set, such as left-handed, alternate tuning, or other instrument).
There used to be a thread devoted to the subject, but because every App is different (and we are not Technical Support people for those guys) you would be better served by checking out the support pages of their website..... under the topics of:  How do I add songs to my Songbook? and such.

Dropbox is more of a cloud storage service and handles documents and things of that kind well, but I doubt is complex enough to resolve links and process raw data to display it as a finished form...... its more like a remote portable hard drive.
Thanks for askin' anyway, Welcome to Chordie!!

As far as heat in your shop, have you concidered one of these?   https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Heater-F27486 … ddy+heater

As I have discovered, 2 pounds of gas on HIGH will last about 4 or 5 hours, on low to med, about 16 ish +/-  I am also using it ni a bigger space (my basement) so it should be ideal for a workshop.   I bought the 12" hose for a 20 pound canister, need to drill the hole in my wall for the hose since you should not have the canister in the house.  The fan is nice but its not really very much force.

Just a thought Beamer, those heaters are un-vented and all the combustion byproducts wind up in the environment with you.... mostly Carbon Dioxide and Water Vapor, and at the same time consumes something you need Oxygen !! You should allow something like 6 square inches of fresh air for each 1000BTU which is a lot like leaving a window open and then trying to heat up the space! If you are planning on "drilling" that hole, you should take a look at NFPA 58 & 59. the National Gas Codes which I will almost wager will require you to chain your bottle to the house outside (on a stable platform like concrete), penetrate the wall with "Black Iron" (not galvanized) pipe and have a manual shutoff between the "hard line" and the "flex".  Following the rules ensures that should there be a tragedy, your Insurance Company might not "bail on you" for spite.

But then again, my Installation and Fitter's License is "inactive" since I retired and the codes do get updated.....  check your local Library.  wink

Don't get nearly that kind of snowfall around here (at least at my low elevation)..... so I have to ask,  where do you shovel it to?  Seems like you wind up just moving it out of the way for a bit and then have to dig twice as much to do something like clear your entire driveway. I do understand why snow-blowers are popular, but don't your neighbors get uppity when you bury their cars, fence, porch, dog-house, wood supply, (pick one)??

Just Wonderin'    smile

Wood...... Just being funny [insert chuckle here].  Actually that Dread was one of the Martin clones and most likely would have been built out of the same species as the Martin it was modeled after.  Spruce top, Mahogany sides and back, Rosewood or Ebony fretboard.  As I recall they were fairly nice guitars with very good sound and quality, right up there with the ones they were trying to emulate.  A "Keeper" !!

So, just finished up with another Wintergrass.  My oldest child showed up to help tending bar in the green rooms, and otherwise helping out with the liquor distribution.   She also decided she wanted to play mandolin, so she went and bought a student model.  Nice little mando.  She showed up in my office with it, very proud.   She had nothing else, though, and no idea she even needed it.

Off we go shopping.  Case, strings, picks, tuner...  I'm $100 into the thing and I don't even play it!  big_smile

Anyway, she now knows all three chords.   It's pretty amazing all the lessons a pretty girl can get just walking the halls.

See you learn stuff on Chordie Too !!  If I'd known there were only Three Chords to have to learn, I might have made a different choice of instrument all those years ago!
I did fool around with a friend's old "F" Mando way back in High School, but was intimidated by the petite thing and trying to get my big 'ol fingers down between those narrow frets.  Haven't looked back..... yet.

Sounds like a good deal to me.  There are a few Guild owners among the ranks here, and I would have to say that I have read/heard nothing but praise for the Brand.  That said, it is a personal choice and if it fits you and sounds like a keeper when you play it you should own it. IMO smile

Most songbook/log-on problems can be solved by clearing the cache, logging out and then logging back in again.  There are a few threads up in the About Chordie section with helpful hints and things to try which you might take a gander at.  Also your problem might get more (and better) attention up in that department where the "specialists" hang out.

You might try feeding a mp3 recording of it into:  https://chordify.net/
and see what it can resolve for you.  I'm not good enough to figure out Accordian music by ear, but they might "see" it as organ or keyboard and get you the general progression.

Good Luck

What you are looking for is hiding down in the Music Theory Section.... I think.  There was an issue with some of the images not having links working there for awhile, but Jerome is aware of the trouble and likely has sorted that out by now.  It should be up in the "Stickys" glued to the top of the forum, one covering major and another on minor scales.

The song is Indexed here on Chordie:  http://www.chordie.com/chord.pere/www.g … 27620.html

How things print is more a function of what your printer settings are as related to page layout.  Not knowing what you are using and all that, it is difficult to give you a "one-line" answer to your question, but for me, I usually just choose "Print to File" and "save as" PDF into a folder in "My Documents".  Then after it is essentially "saved" to my hard drive, I can then open a document editor like Word and change the spacing, font and margins to get the text to fit onto one page only.  Then using print preview you could check to see that the finished document will in fact print on one page.  Save your changes and then print as many as you wish to add to your binder, or as I do just move the file into a folder named something like "Music/John Denver", which can be put on a thumb drive and carried wherever I go to access on any device with or without Internet Available.

Hope that is helpful.

Your "Own Work" or someone else's (possibly copyrighted material) ?

Original stuff you can usually post in the Songwriting section.... but that won't be indexed and easily available to the rest of the World.  I can't think offhand of anyone who will "publish" copyrighted material without some sort of release from the owner/s...... there are Lawyers who make a living out of going after folks that do.  But there should be someone out there who is more up on the subject than me who might wander along and advise you.

I play a Celebrity Elite shallow bowl.... should have gone with the larger volume body in retrospect.  The Bass is a little weak and unamplified it does not project with as much volume as the Balladeer line.  Changing string gauges helps with the former, but the latter, you have to be more aggressive especially in groups to be heard in the mix.
Otherwise no complaints, it has been a stable and easy to play instrument with a fast neck and nicely radius fretboard that is similar to my Epi solid body electric even in the higher neck positions.  Gotta play a few to see how they fit you though.... that round back takes some adjusting to, and a strap almost a must.

Plus Freight and Import Tariffs.....  You know how it works, have a good idea of how it's made, and can likely find someone to build something similar locally for less....
but might face a Patent Suit.

It's cool, but I can neither afford the item or the Solicitor !!

This should get you there, and sounds correct to me although you might try the same chords further up the neck with Barres to get the tone closer if you want.

Howdy again Bill !!

That Blue Snowball is a condenser USB (at least mine is), so easy to hook up and no additional amps and such to fuss with.  You can continue to use your gaming headphones for monitoring, and I would actually recommend that because the Snowball is VERY sensitive and even with the headphones parked on the desk within a foot or so it might "hear" and start a feedback from it.  The Condenser part in the description means that it has an "active" microphonic element as opposed to being passive (or in Mic jargon "Dynamic") which means it needs a power source to function (which it gets from the USB).

So you're getting the Band back together and they don't have to supply their own gear !!  May have to upgrade the electrical though..... wink

I can help Bill !!  Sure do wish I had video Skype right about now.... but here goes with my attempt at describing how to get you there without a lot of complicated jibberish.

We are assuming you use the "common" G fingering with your Index, Middle, Ring fingers, so we'll start there with the G chord (give it a strum).  Now lift your I & M fingers leaving the R still on the e string 3rd fret,  slide your R to the 2nd fret and place your I & M into position for the D7 chord (strum). As you see you can reduce the number of finger movements to only two + a slide and that one "keeps" your place in the string "stack" making it easier to change between those two chords without having to look and verify if you have the correct strings fretted.

Now let's get you to that (dreaded) B7.....  We will be using the D7 shape we just did and moving it vertically towards the Bass Tones one string at a time.  Make your D7 as above, lift all three fingers (while keeping that shape and move up one string so your I is on the G string (strum).  That chord is the AMaj7 (also referred sometimes as C#m7 as an inversion). Move that D7 shape again up one string so the I is on the D string, and add your Pinky on the e string (high e) at the 2nd fret (strum).  Voila the B7 in the first position !!

What I always found was getting that darn Pinky involved was a pain.  Firstly it has no strength, and secondly these hands have taken a beating over time and don't want to cooperate.  I started changing the fingers used for the G to M R P and now switch between sets of fingers depending on what chord I'm coming from or going to.... takes time.

Have Fun !!

Happy Birthday Amy !!!   Like "Wine only gets Better" and I happen to know a "little" about that too!

Especially that Pinot with a Beer chaser is never a good idea.

Be safe and Enjoy.... There might be Fireworks after !!

I do that a lot, Beamer, but it also has to be easy. Like D A G. Sometimes when I try to transpose, it leads me to stuff like B flat minor 7th sustained  augmented over easy and sharply diminished. smile

That come with Bacon, Hash Browns, Toast and Coffee too?  Try capo on 2, C/G  F and G.....and capo down/up from there wink

Yeah it's not the good Ol' Fruity Loops it once was, but a more fully functional iteration and getting up into the realm of a mature DAW.  Like Scott said a big step up from Audacity.
