I got one for you Paul McCartny (sir) "and I love her" its not to hard the chords and lyrics should be fairly easy to locate,or anything with the words I love you or the song "you are so beautiful to me" (joe Cocker) is another warmer upper to woo this lass smile

nmontgomery did this record producer ask for any money to produce you? if he really wants to produce your songs he will pay for everything and make all the arrangements for studio musicians and recording time so if hes on the level it would be a great break for you but be alert many striving artist have been scammed on the Internet with once in a lifetime "deals" good luck smile

Micky all the tracks are synchronized at the beginning so they all come in at the same time on the count of 4 just like in a band. that way I know exactly when the song starts and it makes adding more tracks a snap,:)

That's ok if you dont understand the procedure but as long as you enjoy it when its finished that's good enough for me,in muti track recordings it takes time to mix each track and the best way is to turn all the other tracks off and concentrate on one at a time then like a chef you blend all the ingredients(mix) and open your recording software and it winds up on two channels in stereo from there its formatted as a mp3 which can be uploaded to a web site or made into a CD smile

tonight I laid the lead solos the results were better then I had hoped for,I recorded 2 acoustic rhythm tracks first then laid a bass track after that came a drum track manually played on the pads and followed with a mixture of Congo and hand claps on tracks 4 and 5 and mixed it and bounced it to tracks 7 and 8 the lead solos were applied on tracks 1 and 2 and I did not record over the previous tracks they were shifted to my v tracks and are still there, next the lead vocal and counter harmonies then all of this is mixed and panned and fed into audacity and final eq's and rendering to mp 3 for upload, the lead solos were SMOKIN harmonies in thirds and add a really nice layered effect more to follow smile

Wlbaye this was a warning somehow I dont feel these thieves are going to be deterred because of one account,I dont deal with eBay or pay pal I use my bank because they will reimburse my account and since the bank is backed by the federal reserve it becomes a federal crime and they will and have gone after and nabbed some of these crooks but more come out of the woodwork like cockroaches success breeds increased activity and your warning should be heeded by all who have similar accounts online smile

Jared welcome to Chordie and your song has a all to real everyday event but there's truth in your lyrics and sadly many young men have and are going this road,my only advice would be to find a way to rhyme the verses but overall its an very good first attempt at songwriting keep it going smile

I have a Sabine STX 1100 Ive had it for over 12 years and it is very reliable it uses both battery(9volt) and converter,it has a nice feature you can calibrate it to another instrument that is not 440 hrtz(standard pitch) there are some new tuners that are less expensive and work just as well I think I paid around 60 dollars new back in 1995 smile

Welcome Stransongs to chordie if you want to get a recording into your computer you will need recording software to process it to your hard drive as a mp3, wav, etc. there are a few freeware programs like Reaper and Audacity, Audacity is the easiest to learn. If you dont have a recorder then you will need to either mic the amp, or if it has a line out jack run a 1/4 in guitar chord with a 1/8 in female mono adapter to the mic input on the back of your pc and open the software program and see if your getting a signal, do you have recording gear or software? let me know so I can give you my best recomendation. smile

I usually measure the string a little past the next peg and hold it,cut it and put it in the hole and make a 1/4 inch bend around the post in the opposite direction I'm winding it and keep the wind at the bottom of the post or peg this helps keep the string from slipping I keep tension on the string as I wind it once this is done I bend the short end to the post so there's no chance of pricking my finger on the point smile

Pix I dont play it well but I can tell you it is a Spanish orientated sort of classical sound but definitely unique to the native Hawaiians, its understandable why they dont share this with outsiders or mainlanders its part of there culture there's an island in the Hawaiian chain called Neihow (not the correct spelling) its pronounced knee e ou and only pure Hawaiians are allowed to live or visit there its almost like a Quaker village with no modern conveniences and during WW II a Japanese pilot who was part of the attack on pearl harbor December 7Th 1941 crash landed there and terrorized the inhabitants he was killed as he tried to escape wikipedia has a artical on this. I spent several years on Oahu and Maui it took a while for the locals to accept me but once they did they were warm and friendly,if you really want to know what the island people are like get away from the main tourist attractions to the other side of the island and visit the smaller villages.Charles Lindberg is buried on Maui in a remote almost impossible place to visit, you will have a great vacation there maybe someday I will return smile

Pix I was introduced to slack key when I went over to Honolulu with a band it is a nice form of making music a lot of sliding notes and interesting melodies smile
