Good tribute to doc,I think he influnced all players one way or another.

I most imagine it is better then a truck that is 11 years old. I will not ever buy a chevy truck again though, the fords and dodges seem too be built better.

I can't sing.
I can't construct a song on my own from chords...my theory is garbage.
Without my (delay) pedals to cover my mistakes I'd get sat down every sunday

If it was JUST all about the music...I'd be dead in the water.

Willysongs welcome to the forum, they both play on the e string and they do have a different sound so it is best to use both chords. You should start you own post too get a response from members.

I am still mulling things over, the Martin I want is the same as Pete's I will figure it out sooner or later.

I have a 357mag. pistol,a 12gage shootgun and a winchester 30.06.  I enjoy shooting them all. I no longer hunt but I do enjoy target practice now and then. I used too hunt wild pigs, quail and some duck hunting. and would have too shoot a rattlesnake now and then.

hey badeye,a little ways down the page they says someone used studio software to make the video out of the photo's. So I guess you can say it is a real virtual video of him.

I do have a Takamine F312 but it is small and I want to use it with only plastic strings,it has a great sound too it. I will give myself a week too think this out,I only paid $25.00 for the F312 it was left over from a garage sale!!

My class senior prank was filling up several classrooms with old wrincled up newspapers,we told the principal and also the janitors, they gave it an ok,we were there early too clean it up which did not take long as we had a large amount of people,we did get some good shock value from the teachers and lower classmen. the janitors let us in .the previous evening. The princpal took pictures he had a good time!! Wish I had the pictures now, they got published in the school news.

Happy birthday too Bob,favorite song too many too list but right of the top of my head ,Tangled up in blue.

Thanks for all of your opinions I put a lot of value on all of them. I am going too wait a week or so and mull it over,it is not a high end expensive guitar in fact it is only $359.00. and I made alot over the weekend with a garage sale.No I will not be going into my Martin fund. I also played a great sounding Taylor while I was there but it was really pricey, they are a great guitar. I may have too go get some Beano.
