Thanks, neophytte for helping out.  Appreciate it, cheers.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been absent in July for FSOTM which did not happen.  I am letting you know with renovations going on here presently and family members here, it`s been a bit hard for me to even get online to do anything much.  Just giving you all a heads up, August is going to be pretty much the same for me with renovations and family here but also away on holiday for a couple of weeks.  SO, all that to say, FSOTM will resume back to normal in September.  Please forgive me for the interruption on FSOTM for these two months and all will be back to normal in September.  In the meantime, think of songs, both originals and covers, for September.  We will use the WORDS suggested in July smile

Ok, thanks everyone.  Will set up the new one tomorrow, sorry been a busy week for me.

easybeat, I remember going to see Splizt Enz Live years ago at the Founders Theatre in Hamilton, back then their costumes were amazing along with their musical talent.

Peatle, whilst I hadn't seen that version of that song, I know the song.   I remember the very first time I heard the song, I thought they were saying another word that starts with the letter F instead of 'fox'.  Took me a little while to work it out that they were singing 'Fox' back then.

Gosh another one I hadn't heard of easybeat.   You certainly can find them.

I like this guy's music.  I went onto listen to some others of his and I enjoyed those too.  I hadn't heard of him before, good find easybeat.

Haha funny.   D grade or not, bottom or top grade, it`s the enjoyment of the game, the team camaraderie and laughs along the way.  Good on you Brian, sounds like your team are all good sports.

Haha brilliant, so clever guys big_smile

Peatle, that was a pleasant surprise to see you back posting on FSOTM as I know you have been having trouble with pain in your hands playing guitar.  I enjoyed listening and to how you put it all together with the vocals over lapping and talking at the same time in places, very creative.  Good lyrics on reflection of life "if only I knew".  Was that your lovely lady joining in at the end with you?

neophytte,  change / changing = close enough smile  I like the lyrics in this song, and a couple of the lines stuck out.  "how  can your voice make or break me" which particulary good and thought provoking.

easybeat, that was nicely performed by you all round.   Easy to listen to and just flowed.  Good to see you enter something in here again.

Good to hear you back recording mojo.  Your sounding good as always.  Wishing you all the best for the open mic nights around town.

TIG I really liked this one, great harmonizing when they sing together, and both have great voices.  I like country music, and this is a good one.  Funnily enough, I though I really like country music I don't sing much country music myself, hmmmm maybe something I should try myself.

I like that one.  I haven't heard his other stuff, but I liked the one you have presented here.  Sad that in his lifetime he didn't see himself as successful or other people for that matter.  I think he definitely had talent and sorry his life ended so early and abruptly.

Another good bit of writing easybeat.  You're on a roll!  I agree with TIG on this in regard to how they the talk show King just move onto the next caller if they disagree with them.

I really like how you have written this song Jim.
